Role: Internship - Program & Systems Analyst

During your Internship you will be part of the International R&D team. You’ll be working in a high-performance team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the R&D Program & Systems Manager and as an integrated team member we welcome you to take part in the team’s activities such as team meetings & category meetings which will give you a real feel for the company and the business. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders.

Internship role brief

In brief- you will be responsible for performing activities in four (4) functional areas – Operational Finance- Project Resourcing- Enterprise Performance and Systems Management. To be successful at this role- you would need to be excellent with numbers- have and operate with a logical mindset / paradigm- and also be great at stakeholder communication.

Key Activities

  • Operational Finance
  • Collate- analyze and report on R&D finance (actuals vs targets)
  • Create financial forecasts for management decision making
  • Perform intercompany recharges
  • Perform Actuals analysis
  • Project Resourcing
  • Collate- analyze and report data on team workload / allocation to projects
  • Enterprise Performance
  • Collate- analyze and report on team performance data (actuals vs targets)
  • Communication with relevant stakeholders (within and outside R&D)
  • Systems Management
  • SPOC (single point of contact) for managing R&D employee requests on various tools: SharePoint- SAP Master Data Governance (vendor management)- Hezeltime (Timesheet management)
  • Create and extend new vendors on MDG
  • Create and communicate weekly reports on employee time submissions
  • Manage SharePoint access for internal and external clients

Job Requirements

  • Education: Finance background
  • Work Experience: Not required but is an advantage
  • Knowledge: Microsoft Office
  • Language Knowledge: Fluent in English
