Customer Trade Marketing Intern NL




We're looking for a smart and enthusiastic full-time Customer Trade Marketing (CTM) Intern who can support the BNL Hygiene Customer Trade Marketing team. Our products are in strong demand and consumer behaviour is changing rapidly. As a result, we could use an extra pair of hands to participate in the execution of a categorical strategy in order to develop category sales and short, medium and long term brand market shares with our large distribution customers. 

The preferred start date for this role is Mid-January 2022 (negotiable) at our HQ in Hoofddorp (2-3 days a week) and working the rest of the week from home, for a period of 6 months and wants to develop in the various aspects of CTM. Our ideal candidate is flexible, adaptable to the changes in our environment, not afraid to voice your own ideas and have a hands-on approach in solving issues. Being part of the Customer Trade Marketing team in our international and vibrant company is a unique learning experience and a great way to kick off your Marketing career due to the exposure and varying experience.  


  • You track the performance of the Dutch market (assortment, promotions, merchandising and you recommend adapted action plans. 
  • You will execute analyses to recommend the optimal assortment for the client. 
  • You are in charge of tracking the KPI’s (WD/WDD). 
  • You will work with Spaceman to optimize the aisles. 
  • You will manage the promotional operations: creating the operations, contact with the agencies, with marketing, and tracking and reporting the results. 
  • You will be responsible for specific category projects.

  • You have good interpersonal skills and like to work in teams 
  • You understand and speak English fluently 
  • Ideally, you already have some experience in the field

Internship Conditions 

  • From Mid-January for a period of 6 months 
  • Location: Hoofddorp, The Netherlands 
  • You will receive an internship compensation of €950 per month. We also reimburse one return ticket to your home country up until €150 maximum.
