We are looking for a Business Administration HBO-level student for a 2 to 4 months' internship at our Hoofddorp office (hybrid or remote can also be discussed). The intern will work closely with the Global Account Department Asset Manager (GAD AM), supporting operations related to GAD customers, coordinating all internal resources to keep the customer database up to date, preparing reports as per defined deadlines, and helping the team fulfil its goals.
Beyond assisting projects and helping the GAD AM team to comply with the delivery of their tasks, the intern is encouraged to introduce optimizations proactively, and interact with KDE departments other than GAD and Special Price Support.
The internship is based on 2-4 days a week (ideally 3 days/week), and includes financial compensation (based on the level of the candidate).
What’s in it for you?
+ Work in a collaborative, cross-team environment in an international well-established company
+ Learn to handle and update a customer database platform through direct practice (SalesForce)
+ Learn business processes flow (general procedures and specific for GAD)
+ Communication with international customers and stakeholders
+ Regular guidance and monitoring of progress, 1-on-1 meetings, etc.
+ Compensation of 300-450 EUR gross per month, based on a 30-hour work week.
+ Travel compensation (if the intern needs to work at the Hoofddorp office and doesn’t already have a OV card from DUO)
What will you be doing?
+ Maintenance of the Global Customer accounts data, both in the database and the reporting tool (17 global accounts), and ensuring the data quality and accuracy
+ Assisting the GAD Asset Manager with periodical reporting (billing reports, governance reports, and fleet list or MIF)
+ Communicating with partners for effective and efficient operations
+ Order processing, including contacting the partners/customers if the orders are incomplete, replying to follow-up questions of the order, and reviewing and correction of order templates
+ Assist and contribute with the optimization of sales processes
What do we need from you?
· This is an internship, so experience is obviously not necessary, but previous exposure to teamwork projects would be a plus!
· MBO student or HBO (Preferably in the Business Administration field). The candidate must be enrolled in a Dutch education institution for the whole agreed internship period.
· Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
· Fluent in Business English (written/spoken)
· Team player, fast-learner and inquisitive-minded
· Organized and structured
