As an intern/working student you’ll be working on the topic of “term premia” in capital markets. If the topic is still a bit too abstract; no worries, we’ll teach you. The assignment will be on the intersection of macroeconomics, fixed income markets and quantitative research. If this makes you enthusiastic, we are as well. This assignment will give a unique exposure to the Fixed Income and Economic Research teams within PGGM’s Public Market Investment unit.
What you will be doing, in more detail:
The assignment is a combined effort of FI and CPAM. With the former you will work alongside portfolio managers, and you will have exposure to the international fixed income markets. With the latter, you’ll be working with PGGM’s researchers and economists.
The assignment will deal with the term premia embedded in yield curves and surveys. These premia are already a heavily debated topic, but we believe your assignment could bring some added value. We wonder whether any trade ideas could be initiated on the basis of the models and tools you’re going to create.
