In this role, you have the opportunity to

Learn from the team leader Operational Procurement. Working closely together with this team and other teams including Procurement Engineers from the business unit and Supplier Account Managers and many suppliers of Factory Best.

You are responsible for

  • Gathering relevant information on problems, identifying gaps, and proposing corrective actions
  • Prepare for and support in the Daily Management operating rhythms of the organization and the weekly KPI report outs
  • Support on material inflow activities
  • Support on inventory monitoring activities
  • Support on material processes in the factory

You are a part of

The Operational Material Management (OMM) team of Factory Best, within Philips Health Systems. This team consists of Operational Buyers, Supplier Performance Managers and End-Of-Life Analysts.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your University Master in Sciences WO (Msc.) or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Operations or related study and will be enrolled as a student for the whole internship period
  • Well-developed communication and collaboration skills (team player)
  • Proactive attitude, able to work independently
  • Willingness to further develop analytical and intellectual capabilities
  • Fluent in oral and written English
