About us

We are ParkBee, we develop smart tech to give space back to the city. With our mobility management solutions, we optimise the use of underutilised parking spaces and get cars off the streets. We partner up with third party applications such as Parkmobile, Park-line and RingGo to improve our services even more. We have offices in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, and are now ready to conquer the rest of Europe. Join us and play a huge role in our fast growing business!

The job

As a fast-growing young organisation we love to work in a dynamic and sometimes even hectic environment! That’s why we’re looking for someone who is eager to create structure in our office and in our office systems and processes. As part of the People & Culture team at ParkBee, you will work in the heart of ParkBee. It’s your responsibility to think about what's needed today in the office or in our people processes. You manage the office, the vibe and fill in gaps. You are the first point of contact for employees at our Headquarters in Amsterdam. You make sure that all employees enjoy coming into the office, and that all visitors leave with a smile.

On top of that, you take care of all small things that matter greatly. A personal present on birthdays, a handwritten card at work anniversaries, and other surprises that show we go the extra mile for our team. At the same time, you’ll work on interesting bigger projects, like creating and implementing a plan to fully get back to the office and organising bigger company events.

Some of your responsibilities:

  • Oversee everything that happens in and around the office. You are the go-to person for colleagues in regards to all office and admin-related matters;
  • Onboard new colleagues and make sure they’re supplied with all the equipment they need;
  • Regularly organise events for the team/external stakeholders and make sure that daily meetings with external parties run smoothly;
  • Manage our IT (making sure that AV in meeting rooms are always working), office equipment, and food & beverages. You make sure it’s always there, and, for example, will also ensure broken hardware for employees gets fixed asap;
  • Manage and keep a good overview of our people processes and improve these regularly and to the business needs.

Who you are

You are someone who doesn’t just do the job, but who loves the idea of making the office a more inspiring and vibrant place. You are curious, a quick learner, bright, creative, and ‘zen’. Even in the busiest of times, you are able to keep a cool head with your planning and organisational skills. You are flexible, curious and have a proactive mindset. You have excellent communication skills and have an outgoing personality. Does this sound like you? Keep reading!

We are likely to be a match if you:

  • Are hands-on, detail-focused, and love organising. You always go the extra mile for people and at the same time love to get things done;
  • Are flexible and always thinking one step ahead in your work. You foresee issues, and initiate and implement smart solutions so we’re ready for the future;
  • Take ownership: have high level of initiative and ability to work independently (as part of a bigger team);
  • Feel comfortable in an environment with different cultures and background;
  • Are fluent in Dutch and English (verbally & in writing);
  • Have good computer skills, you’re tech savvy and know what software to use for each of the challenges you encounter;
  • Have a background in hospitality (this is a plus, but not a must);
  • Can start as soon as possible.

What you’ll get in return

Besides the fact that you would be given the opportunity to make a huge impact on our team and develop yourself while learning from the fast-paced scaling of our scale-up:

  • The opportunity to make a big impact on our team and our growth;
  • Be part of a super ambitious, fast-paced and innovative team;
  • Virtual shares for full-time employees;
  • Time for personal development with an allocated budget to grow;
  • A competitive base salary based on your experience;
  • Regular team events & Friday drinks;
  • Daily delicious lunch.

Sounds good? Don’t hesitate to apply! Send your resume and motivation letter and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
