This Customer Expert job offers you a monthly salary of € 4.206,69 to € 6.009,56 euro gross for working 36 hours a week, depending on your knowledge and experience. The job requires fluency in Dutch and English, both written and verbally.

Your impact as a Customer Expert at NN

While discovering the real customer needs, you motivate your colleagues in working according to the NN innovation framework. You will work on new concepts and innovative ideas using Design thinking and Lean Startup principles. You know how to set the right target groups and to ask the right customers the right questions. You know how to find the question behind the question so that you can bring specific emotional backgrounds to light. You aim for optimum customer understanding. Our Proposition Leads can count on your expertise. You support and challenge the Proposition Leads to deeply understand the customer with a plan of action, a motivated approach, customer journey mapping and sharp personas.

Using your initiative and ambition, you achieve excellent results:

  • Qualitative interviews with the right target groups
  • Accurate analyses based on the data you collected
  • Sharp insights and solutions to meet our customer needs
  • Spot on personas as a basis for attractive propositions and excellent customer journeys

Who you are

You know how to structure your activities and follow a disciplined approach. This applies especially to the structured way you conduct your interviews. You make a real connection to the people you work with, whether they are your colleagues or customers. You understand customer journey mapping, stakeholder mapping and business modelling. You also know how to visualize and create a story in a compelling way. You facilitate the ideation process for the purpose of creating solutions that address the customer insights. You are experienced in design thinking and lean startup and working with a step-by-step innovation process.

In addition, you recognise yourself in the checklist below:

  • Fluent in Dutch and English both verbally and written
  • You have at least 2 -5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical, creative and conceptual skills
  • Hard skills and in-depth knowledge of customer development
  • Experience in innovation methodologies and principles like lean-startup and you know how to apply and integrate lean-startup principles within the team is a plus.

Your colleagues

You will be part of our Booster team, which is a relatively new team of approximately 11 to 13 colleagues (Customer Experts, Experiment Designers and Innovation Coaches). We regularly work with freelancers to handle different projects at the same time. Our Booster team is part of the Strategic Transformation Office (60 colleagues) within NN Group. Our focus is on innovative development of winning propositions for various services. We are the internal innovation agency, that brings expertise in testing and developing new business models and concepts, from initial idea to market launch. Your future colleagues are real experts in innovation and have the ambition to build a next-level innovation team.
