About you

You are an ambitious Law & Technology student passionate about applying your expertise in the real world. You are looking for an opportunity to apply your knowledge and think along on compliance, privacy, technology and security processes within a startup. You are accountable, proactive, and have a passion for this work.

The internship

During this internship you will work closely with the Co-founders and team to set up best-practice policies and documentation around privacy, software development, and information security. You will help draft documents for these policies, advise, and make final versions. For example, acceptable use, vulnerability management, patch management, and others, especially related to the ISO 270001 certification.You will learn how to apply your expertise in a small company, how software development teams work, and how to manage processes.

The internship will run for about 4- 6 months and between 2-3 days a week. You can work remotely or from our office in Utrecht.

Requirements

  • You are currently working towards your Masters in Law & Technology
  • You have a strong understanding of privacy regulations and best practices in information security
  • You are available to work at least 16 hours per week
  • Strong written English skills- Our company language is English, so the work will be in English, but being able to read and review Dutch documents is a plus.
