Job Description


Are you seeking an opportunity to put your financial and accounting skills into practice? Would you like to get exposure to the job of a Financial Controller working in a global manufacturing company?

This internship will offer you the unique opportunity to support the divisional SOX coordinator in the execution of the 2021 SOX process. 

This is a great way to learn how various key business and financial processes are organized and controlled from a financial perspective. Will also provide great learning on SOX requirements for a US listed company.

Main responsibilities:

  • Documenting, assessing and testing key controls in our LGM-EU business. 
  • Work with different business process owners and controllers across Europe to ensure that the key controls are documented properly. 
  • Perform walkthrough procedures and key controls testing. 

The preferred start date is May 1st, 2021 or earlier. The ideal candidate is available for at least 4 days a week for a duration of at least 5 months.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated and thriving in a dynamic and collaborative environment. 

What we also expect from you:

  • Currently following a Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance and Control, Auditing, Economics, or any related studies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Excel skills will be a plus
