Job Description

Our team here at TBA Group is growing and to support our growth we are recruiting a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team, ideally based in the Leicester area of the UK, or Delft, Netherlands.

As an expert in Tech Talent Acquisition, you know how to find and attract software talent - we know it's a competitive market, so finding and retaining software talent across the globe is of strategic importance to us, this means you will have a pivotal role in the future growth of TBA Group.

TBA Group is a growing consultancy and software company that uses simulation, emulation and software to simplify the logistic processes of container terminals, bulk facilities, airports, manufacturing plants, warehouses and other logistic systems all over the world. We are carefully expanding our business and are always on the lookout for software engineers, scrum masters, data scientists, project managers, functional experts, and quality assurance specialists with an interest in automation within the logistics industry. 


Together with our digital marketing and HR team, your work will ensure that we are recognised as an attractive employer for smart, software and data science talent with a passion for solving complex logistics problems.

By creating effective resourcing strategies through assessing talent needs, you'll build talent pipelines, tap into uncovered markets, conduct recruitment marketing activities and much more, you'll also support our teams in the United Kingdom (Doncaster, Leicester), the Netherlands (Delft), Germany (Dusseldorf) and Romania (Satu Mare).

Skills & Experience

  • Educated to university degree level
  • Demonstrable experience in Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding
  • Experience of recruiting within the technology space is essential
  • Experience of creating and implementing effective recruitment strategies
  • Expert at sourcing talent, passive as well as active candidates through a range of channels
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Great verbal and written communication essential
  • High degree of fluency in English language essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues you'll understand the needs and requirements of individual hiring needs and the long-term talent plan. You'll support the hiring managers depending on the role by various activities such as job creation, marketing, candidate screening etc
  • You'll proactively identify potential talent through social media channels like LinkedIn, Reddit and Github. You know all there is to know about Boolean search, Google X-Ray search and have methodically turned sourcing the internet for talent into an art form
  • Building an employer brand to attract the smartest talent, with a visible presence at universities and colleges. You will find ample support of the business as they enjoy sharing their knowledge with students during lunch lectures, workshops, and other events!
  • You know that recruitment is all about data and KPI's and are able to provide great insight into the effectiveness of our recruitment activities with regular reports with actionable data.
  • You take pride in keeping up to date with market developments and challenge your own ways of working, showing a keen curiosity on future development and trends in the area of talent acquisition/recruitment.
