Role and responsibilities

The Technical team in Knowledge Values is challenged to design, implements and maintain intelligent applications and systems based on our innovative Match™ technology with exceptional professionalism.

  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to the team for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
  • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
  • Lead cloud applications and help desk support efforts, making sure all cloud applications, laptops, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
  • Approve or deny change requests for cloud management service modifications
  • Analyze cloud resource deployment summary data
  • Monitor cloud resource key metrics
  • Integrate cloud systems into the current environment
  • Resolve operational problems
  • Evaluate and implement new cloud computing technologies
  • Load balancing

Profile and requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience working as system administrator with cloud computing work experience
  • Relevant Certifications: ComptTIA Cloud+, Professional Cloud Administrator (hosted by the Cloud Credential Council) or proprietary certifications, including Azure and AWS
  • System administration and IT certification in Linux, Microsoft, or other related fields are a plus
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools
  • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing help desk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
  • Team player
  • Communicating effectively in verbal and written expression
  • Able to facilitate face-to-face client sessions
  • Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus)
