Our goals are to foster entrepreneurship, diversify space as a business and address customer- and society-driven needs. We rely on our network of 21 ESA Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs) made up of 1000+ start-ups, as well as our Technology Brokers and Business Application Ambassadors.

You will be involved in:

  • Collecting data from the network’s various stakeholders in order to coordinate review boards, performance management and new project set-up, and fostering cooperation between the ESA BIC start-ups in Europe and abroad;
  • Collecting requirements for the further development of ESA BIC data management, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Monitoring the performance of the portfolio of start-ups and alumni to provide our stakeholders and decision-makers with KPIs and feedback;
  • Enhancing cross-fertilisation between incubatees and/or alumni within a given ESA BIC and/or across the network, to provide the start-ups with new ideas of synergies and/or new products/services development and to support the content creation of the Space Solutions Website;
  • Supporting network communication and dissemination of information.

Education

You should have just completed, or be in your final year of, a university course at Masters level in a business administration or engineering discipline.

Additional requirements

  • Project management, database management, stakeholder consultation or business development.
  • You should have good interpersonal and communication skills and should be able to work in a multi-cultural environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
  • During the interview motivation and overall professional perspective/career goals will also be explored.
