Job Description

Start date: We prefer students able to start as soon as possible. No later than Q2 2021.

Duration: 6 months. We do prefer students able to extend.

If we are able to support you with a graduation/thesis assignment, we do require a minimum availability of 32 hours per week to support our team. In any other situation, we like you to work 40 hours per week on all the responsibilities.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Join our world class Talent Acquisition Team within Philips. Within this role, you will be responsible for managing internship hiring requests from our internal customers in the Netherlands. You will be part of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Campus Recruitment team, which consists of 10-15 people who are located in different countries across the region (Netherlands, UK, France, Germany, Poland and Israel).

You are responsible for

Providing recruiting support to our internal customers (hiring managers) of Royal Philips in the Netherlands for all their intern-hiring needs. This contains internships for HBO (Bachelor) and WO (Bachelor/Master) students.

  • Support the hiring managers to start the hiring process of an intern and conduct a Recruitment Strategy Meeting to align on internship specifications, candidate requirements, next steps and timeline;
  • Support the hiring manager with high attractive job descriptions for interns;
  • Complete vacancy handling in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Workday;
  • Post internship job descriptions on our Philips Career site, applicable job boards and other relevant promotion channels for internships;
  • Share job postings via social media channels relevant for interns and keep these up to date;
  • Select and pre-screen (short interview) applications for internships;
  • Provide the hiring manager with a shortlist of suitable candidates;
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates on status and feedback to candidates and customers;
  • Next to the above, you will also support in events, occasionally.

Philips Talent Acquisition, which is a Center of Expertise in our HR organization. Together with HR Managers, HR Business Partners, other Centers of Expertise and Philips People Services we deliver HR Services to Philips employees and managers at all stages of the career cycle. In our Talent Acquisition team, Talent Acquisition Consultants, Sourcing Specialists, Campus Recruiters, Recruitment Marketing Specialists and an Operations support team, work closely together to hire the best people for Philips.

We are flexible regarding office location. If you prefer Amsterdam, we want you to be flexible traveling to our Eindhoven location on a regular basis.

Due to the current COVID19 situation, we do support you working from home. Depending the rules and conditions as provided by our Philips Management, we might be able to grand you visit our offices.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards a HBO Bachelor, WO Bachelor or WO Master studies: Human Resource, Business Management, Business Administration or Marketing
  • You are customer focused, able to work independently, structured, proactive and enthusiastic.
  • You have good communication skills in English (Dutch is a preference) and the ability to communicate in a clear and decisive way.
  • You have a high standard regarding quality.
