The role will be part of the Compliance Team and will lead corporate quality audits, inspections (internal and external) and monitor processes & procedures against Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), company policies, methods, protocols and applicable local regulations/ guidelines. As such this role will have visibility and access to the highest levels of the organisation. The role will report directly to the Global Head of Quality Audits Europe, LATAM & NA and will continually feed into the responsible Senior Leadership teams.
Create a risk-based corporate quality audit plan as per defined frequencies
Conduct corporate quality audits of Manufacturing, R&D, Distribution Centre, Embellisher, External Quality and Commercial quality functions. This includes ensuring 100% compliance with Local Regulations/Regulatory Requirements and minimum RB standards, reviewing and maintaining RB’s Functions compliant with ISO, ICH, EMA, FDA, MHRA, MCC and ANVISA standards as applicable.
Generate detailed audit reports specifying identified gaps, areas for improvement and recommendations.
Conduct follow up visits, as required, to sites identified as High Risk
Work with each function’s quality owner to ensure that all actions are taken
Deliver aligned objectives in a timely manner and ensure that KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) are met for responsible region.
Keep updating metric on timely basis and participates in routine departmental meetings
Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance organizational compliance & to mitigate the potential risk.
Define and deploy best practices
To escalate issues / concerns to relevant senior/upper managers.
At least 3 years’ experience conducting quality and compliance audits.
Good understanding of quality and compliance regulations related to Manufacturing R&D, Distribution Centres, External Quality and Commercial Quality functions in one or more countries.
Demonstrated ability to work across functions, businesses and internationally.
Capability to adapt RB’s Leadership behaviours “Own-Care-Create-Deliver” and implement these through daily operations by adding value to the business.
Experience in working with Senior Management.
Be persistent and undeterred on encountering obstacles and tracking work through to completion.
Have clear and concise communications skills, both written and verbal, requiring a good level of English language, with the ability to adapt communications to various audiences.
Be self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient and comfortable working independently.
Challenge traditional processes/working methods to add more value while striving for excellence.
Be willing to travel >50% (if required).
