RRFA is at the core of the bank’s strategy ‘Feeding the World Sustainably by 2050’. RRFA consists of almost 100 analysts across the world that each are dedicated to one or more food and agribusiness sectors.
This internship is within RRFA is in the Supply Chains team that is responsible for research related to (sustainable) food packaging and food logistics worldwide.

There is enormous focus on increasing recycling rates, recyclability of packaging, and developing more innovative solutions for food and beverage packaging. This is strongly driven by stakeholder pressure from consumers and regulators, and sustainability strategies of large retailers and brand owners. Are you interested in food packaging and associated topics like sustainability, waste management, and recycling, this might be the perfect internship for you.
We are looking for an intern who is interested in doing independent research as well as providing ad-hoc support as a ‘real’ member of the Supply Chains team, and is thus a combination of a specific research project and a service learning internship. The internship will be for a period of 3-5 months. Due to Covid-19, you will predominantly be working in an online environment within a global team.
The research project evolves around the metal can recycling industry in Europe. We expect you to do the following:
The ad-hoc requests are diverse. For example, you might be asked to do a quick piece of targeted research of another topic, or to help produce graphs or a slide pack.
