We are a European micromobility startup on a mission to improve city life. We believe in a future where inner cities will be free of cars and pollution. Our mission is to free our cities with clean rides, for everyone.

Dott is headquartered in Amsterdam and is now operating in 15 cities across France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy and Poland. And soon in many more cities and different countries across Europe.

We are looking for a product quality & compliance engineer to join Dott, and play a vital role in establishing the highest quality standards in our industry. You will create and lead the quality function across all our product lines. The role will be based in Amsterdam and report to the Quality Manager.

What you'll do:

  • Manage vehicle compliance across Dott’s fleet, defining required product characteristics for new markets and ensuring continued compliance.
  • Lead the root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent corrective action (PCA) definition/implementation, for issues relating to the engineering of the vehicle
  • Lead FMEA and Lessons learnt to establish future design parameters based on business learnings
  • Identify and drive initiatives to reduce Dott’s warranty costs, also collaborating with Supplier Quality (in EU and Asia) to reduce supplier warranty costs, thinking both short and long term
  • Become Dott’s expert in the engineering content of all vehicles
  • New vehicle launch management, taking all necessary actions before launch and during the first 3 months in service, to ensure a smooth introduction

What you'll need

  • 5+ years experience in a quality role (hardware) or similar
  • 2+ years working directly with product compliance.
  • Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive/Aerospace Engineering Degree qualified.
  • Critical thinker, Problem Solving expert
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English
  • Based in Amsterdam, with flexibility to travel
  • Strong autonomous worker
