Nowi is a semiconductor company that was founded in 2016, and has rapidly grown to a 25 people team. We have patents pending on our innovative RF harvesting technology, and we are planning to expand that portfolio. Nowi has the ambition to make an impact in the world, and we expect that our people want to do the same. Nowi is located in Delft and has an extensive academic background with people that have masters and PhDs from the Technical University in Delft. The Netherlands is one of the leaders in academic research on RF energy harvesting and we are bringing it into practice.

At Nowi we want to expand our team with an intern or a working student who can help us evaluate different harvesters for our Low Power Management IC. We are searching for answers for the harvesters on the following questions:

• How much power does the harvester give?
• Does its match with the specs of our PMIC?
• Is it practical ?

The planning

• Read papers about: Energy harvesting, harvesters, maximum power point tracking
• Onboarding/demo: get explained how our IC works, get a demonstration on how it works
• Design/ characterization setup: Design TEG characterization setup, improve PV characterization setup, improve Piezo characterization setup.
• Characterize our PMIC and new harvesters: gather harvester data on maximum power point,
• Charging batteries and charging supercab with our PMIC and energy harvesters
