That you are working in a team which is responsible for the management and development of the mid and back office applications of the Corporate Bank. The Corporate Banking Products Delivery Unit is one of the five delivery units within the IT Systems Wholesale International organisation. Hence, the Products Delivery Unit provides services to the different operational departments within Wholesale and Rural (W&R) worldwide. The mission of the Products Delivery Unit is to continuously improve the capabilities of the corporate bank in order to become a truly client centric bank which is transparent, compliant and stands out in operational excellence.

To support this mission the Products Delivery Unit is currently executing the Core Banking Transformation (CBT) programme, one of the important strategic programmes within the Wholesale International organisation. Within the CBT programme the Products Delivery Unit is responsible to seamlessly replace the existing Corporate Banking applications into one single platform. And to create an Open Banking Layer connecting this to the outside world. This all will contribute to the W&R objectives to become a truly client centric bank by enhancing customer experience, reducing costs and operational risks, easing implementation of regulations, increasing efficiency and the ability to innovate.

Multiple DevOps teams are developing the Core Banking Platform and work together in building an accessible, safe and future-proof solution which facilitates standardised and STP processes worldwide with high accessibility for our customers at low costs.

Overall you be will a member of the Corporate Banking Products Delivery Unit with a focus on Trade and Commodity Finance. Furthermore, you are an active member of the Core Banking Transformation Programme (Trade DevOps team) and will work closely with other disciplines/roles within Rabobank and third parties. You have general interest in software development, -testing and knowledge about the business domain (Trade & Commodity Finance)

As a Business Analyst, you can make a difference:

  • In being the primary contact for our stakeholders;
  • In identifying, modelling, and documenting the functional and non-functional requirements;
  • In representing customer and end-user interests by gathering input from stakeholders to understand the problem to be solved;
  • In capturing and drafting priorities for requirements together with the product owner.
  • In combining one or more (technical) specialties with ability to translate strategic goals into innovative solutions
  • In contributing in your team by doing other tasks from a T-shape perspective.

With you as a (Junior) Business Analyst the entire project team will consist of 200+ diverse colleagues in a variety of roles.

Customer focus, initiative, communication and delivering results are clearly essential for the role of (Junior) Business Analyst. In addition, it's important that you recognize everything in the checklist below:

  • Minimum level of Education HBO (NL) College (UK)
  • At least 1 year of experience with developing software applications
  • Knowledge and experience with Trade and Commodity Finance products
  • Knowledge of Rabobank Corporate Banking products and end-to-end processes
  • Knowledge of the IT-landscape within Rabobank Corporate Banking
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Agile, Lean and DevOps
  • Analytical mind-set able to continuously improve services
  • Experience with working in a dynamic international environment
  • Fluent English and Dutch; good communication in both language
