We always use field-fresh high-quality flowers straight from the grower and deliver to our customers through a high-tech and highly creative platform. Our e-commerce company based out of Amsterdam went from start-up to scale-up at hypersonic speed. We are active in five countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, and the UK. Next step? Brand & Creative team in bloomon

The Brand & Creative team forms the creative core of the company and is responsible for the bloomon brand. Split into 3 disciplines, we have: Visual Design, Copy & Content and Flower Design. In close collaboration Visual Design and Copy & Content creates most things in house, from marketing campaigns to packaging, from social media content to website and UX tests. In addition, our Flower Design team continuously strives to be the frontrunner in floral design, creating beautiful bouquet designs for our fresh and (new!) dried flowers every day. All this happens within a team of 6 creatives, project manager, Brand Manager and a handful of freelance help for photography and copywriting.

What will you do?

To promote our beautiful flowers we need equally beautiful ads to promote them. Therefore we are looking for an experienced graphic designer who knows how to create ads that perform but also match our visual identity and esthetics. Together with our Art Director and Junior visual designer you will be responsible for all visual design we do within bloomon, where you will focus mostly on our online presence. In collaboration with your colleagues from UX, Marketing and Product you will develop online campaigns, assets and AB tests for our website and landing pages. But also creating magazine ads and flyers for offline partnerships. And last but not least, think about how we can create an increasing amount of assets in a smart way and not doing everything manually. A broad scope of work for a skilled graphic designer who is ready to fall in love with flowers.

You will be responsible for

  • Creating engaging and converting ads for online campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) that match our visual direction
  • Designing flyers, print ads, online ads, newsletters, banners and packaging materials.
  • Working together with our content creative on designing online campaigns
  • Working together with Product, Marketing and UX for website and landing page designs and A/B testing
  • Think about how we can increase the amount of assets we deliver but also do this more efficient e.g. tools we can use.

What do we expect from you?

  • At least 3-5 years of working experience at an agency or lifestyle brand
  • E-commerce experience. You know what works and fits with our brand aesthetic
  • Education level: BA/MA/BSc/MSc/Art academy
  • Ability to bridge a brand strategy to commercial execution and work within existing brand guidelinesCreate designs from scratch with high quality standard with a great eye for detail
  • An enthusiastic approach that fuels the team spirit
  • Knowledge of working with the following design tools: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, (Video editing is a plus)Knowledge of typography, lay out and basic photo editing skills
  • Knowledge on print and DTP work is a pre
  • Fluent English. Dutch and/or German are a plus
