The department: Energy Transition & Circular Economy

Recently Teijin Aramid has decided to further strengthen their organization on the journey towards a fully circular Aramid-chain. The newly formed ‘Energy Transition & Circular Economy Team’ takes the lead in realizing our global ambitions on sustainable development. The team focuses their activities on Energy Transition, Circular Economy and Organization & Change. Maintaining our current position as Market leader in our Industry requires an exemplary role in the changes ahead of us and requires dedicated time and resources from a global team that will continue to use the current organization to realize the required results.

Your role

We offer an exciting and educational program with a strong focus on “Circular Economy’ and international contacts as Teijin Aramid aims to build a fully sustainable circular aramid value chain.

  • You map opportunities to bring products back from the market, investigate and start up recycling options and are involved in next generation eco-economic applications.
  • You support the further development of our Customer Benefit Model, which enables our customers to calculate the environmental and economic benefits of using our products.
  • You build Ecoprofiles of our products based on Life Cycle Assessment, do market research on new business opportunities, competition and product applications and investigate legislation, industry standards and recycling possibilities.
  • You support the colleagues from the department.

Here’s what you need

For this Internship you are at least in the third year of your bachelor study (applied) science in Europe in the directions: (Technical) business administration, business economics or Chemical Technology, Environmental management, Sustainability science, Industrial Ecology

Furthermore:

  • Close affiliation with other professional areas, such as Marketing & Sales, Supply Chain or Finance;
  • Strong analytics, able to use numbers to link to operational issues;
  • Excellent communication skills, ideally both English and Dutch;
  • Enrolled at an educational institution during the entire internship period.

*Due to Covid-19 we strongly prefer students who are currently living in the Netherlands.

  • You are result driven, show ownership, have a strong market orientation and customer focus,
  • You are independent and takes initiative
