The Role

You are responsible for the creation and execution of the demand generation strategy for Zivver, delivering a marketing team, programs, platforms and processes to turn our investment into results.

A proven marketing leader for creating and scaling demand generation in a medium to high value B2B environment, you will be supremely confident in the ability to build and execute a demand gen program that delivers results.

This opportunity is to lead & develop a marketing team & strategy with responsibility for the creation of our global business pipeline. You will create and drive a demand generation function that delivers predictability and scalability of the demand generation ‘machine’ through multi-channel, multi touch campaigns across a range of segments, verticals use cases and countries.

You will have responsibility for creating the MarTech platform that will scale to support thousands of prospect journeys.

A Day at Zivver

(We are living during a pandemic, so there’s no such thing as a day at HQ. We fully support a work-from-home situation (read as monitors, headphones, webcam, docks, and whatever else you might need). In normal times though...)

You arrive at the office with a big smile. Last week you read the latest book on Account Based Marketing (ABM). You were inspired and today is the day you’re setting up, according to best practices, a new strategy to further improve collaboration between Sales & Marketing to generate demand at big prospective customers in core verticals.

During the morning you sit in front of the whiteboard sketching out the new strategy, At 10:00 you call in some of your marketing- and sales peers to discuss your thoughts and way forward.

Around 11:00 a.m. it’s time for your weekly Marketing Analytics check in with our Marketing & Sales Data Analyst, Digital Marketing Manager and VP Marketing in which you align on trends in the data, operational data requests and the roadmap for marketing analytics.

After enjoying a free lunch at the Humming Bar you have a meeting with an agency on an upcoming campaign targeting a relatively new vertical with a targeted proposition. Today you will review the campaign concept and align on final timelines for execution. Because you gave them an awesome brief, the concept turned out to be awesome too, so you go into execution mode: let’s bring it to life!

The day is drawing to an end. Today you brought to life your ideas on a new ABM strategy, got new insights from our data and signed off on the production of a new demand gen campaign. You’re about to close your laptop when Jori drops in, asking if you’re up for a beer at the Humming Bar. It’s been quite a day, so that seems like an awesome plan.

Responsibilities

  • Devise the strategy for developing a pipeline of global opportunity for our contracted business.
  • Justify and optimise a budget to drive demand across a range of channels and geos.
  • Develop and run innovative campaigns that center around our buyer needs and position and differentiate Zivver for secure communications solutions.
  • Develop and execute targeted media plans that engage and retain interest with our target audiences.
  • Move prospects through a buying cycle via a comprehensive nurture program.
  • Implement a full attribution model enabling the optimisation of investment by Channel, Segment, Campaign and Stage.
  • Collaborate with finance and sales to implement Budget planning and forecasting. Analyses and optimises our investment.

Requirements

  • Demand Generation experience: You must have at least 4-6 years experience in demand generation roles in the enterprise software (SaaS) or digital security space. You have a solid understanding of all aspects of demand generation, lead management, inbound marketing, and content marketing.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of B2B demand generation for medium value (€20k-€100k) business opportunities.
  • Experience building demand programs that span multiple countries.
  • Knowledge and application of media, online and preferably offline for B2B awareness, intent and conversion.
  • Ability to drive the creation of multi-channel campaigns that work.
  • Strong experience and deep understanding of lead management techniques and processes.
  • Deep knowledge of all MarTech platforms from CRM, ABM, Nurturing and advertising.
  • Analytical beyond the surface data. The ability to dig into data to uncover insights and drive strategies as a result
  • Process - you are familiar with best practices in demand generation, e.g. Sirius Decisions models and can choose the right one. You know attribution models intimately.
  • Martech - you are fully versed in all areas of Marketing technology for B2B marketing.
  • B2B Software experience: You gained experience working with B2B software/security companies and you are familiar with the dynamics and customer journey in enterprise B2B companies. Analytical - you are strong in analysing data that leads to insights in products or markets.
  • Education: a Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) required, Master’s/MBA a plus. Relevant fields of study include Business Administration, Marketing.
