You will define the global search advertising strategy that will impact the results of our business. You are creating the right processes from both a strategic and operational level. You ensure a constant optimization of the campaigns you are responsible for and make smart use of the data in order to back up your decisions.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and data-driven Senior Paid Search Specialist to join our team. This person will be responsible for the management of the paid search channel and optimisation, it will have the opportunity to have a real and tangible impact on results and the business. Search is a very valuable channel and we are looking for a specialist that is up to the task of managing multi-million budget per month in a multi-market multi-language mix.

The ideal candidate is energetic and a self-starter willing to dig in. He or she can ramp up quickly and work effectively with little oversight and prioritize and manage their own work, clearly tying it to the goals of the larger team, and the business as a whole.

What you’ll do

  • Execute day-to-day campaign building, optimisation, and maintenance for multiple Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts.
  • Define and implement optimisation strategies and tests for SEM campaigns in a multi-market multi-language environment in more than 80+ categories.
  • Leverage audiences and first-party data to increase conversion and engage the existing userbase.
  • Dynamically advertise on more than 50.000 special items every week.
  • Plan and manage automation projects for SEM activities to drive incremental efficiency.
  • Analyze and report out on performance weekly providing key insights and actions to cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends within the PPC best practices and strategies

What you’ll bring

  • 3> years of experience in dedicated paid search marketing directly overseeing paid search strategy and managing budgets.
  • Proficiency with Excel in addition to basic competency in SQL.
  • Ability to optimize processes to quickly identify and respond to changes in performance.
  • Experience with one or more bid management platforms (e.g. Marin, Kenshoo or Google Search Ads 360)
  • Familiar with CPA, ROAS, ROI, LTV, and more.
  • Experience building and managing data feeds for scalable campaign management
  • Passion for automation
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an aptitude for overcoming obstacles with limited resources.
  • Writing and implementing Google Ads scripts is a plus
  • Experience in a marketplace environment is a plus.
  • Bilingual in French, Italian, German or Spanish is a plus.
