The Agilisys Cloud Practice is growing rapidly and sits at the heart of how Agilisys is seeking to become the “Technology Partner of Choice for the UK Public Sector.” We are looking for an individual that advocates for Agilisys’ cloud services with clients, and who embodies the core Agilisys values of Partnership, Integrity, Innovation and Passion.

The Cloud Network Architect’s role is to provide architectural and engineering delivery across the practice’s cloud networking programmes and engagements. A recognised expert within the cloud and networking areas, with a proven track record of network architecture, design and delivery.

How will you spend your days?

The successful candidate will be actively engaged within cloud programmes providing strategic direction to client programs around high level technical plans as well as guide, assess and assist teams at low-level technical design stages for cloud networking projects.

This role will play an integral part within a talented cloud practice team, building public and hybrid cloud network services. You will interpret enterprise scale cloud based networking requirements, leading on the development of the overall end solution.

  • Cloud network solution creation and design
  • Evolving the cloud networking capability within the business with a particular focus on Azure Virtual WAN.
  • Lead and work within a team of cloud experts with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
  • Lead architect for project workstreams, designing the appropriate environments for clients, including health and other public sector organisations, to an Official Sensitive compliant standard
  • Creation and review of High-Level Design and Low-Level Design documentation
  • Root cause analysis of faults and identification and remediation of implementation issues during early lifecycle support
  • Supporting and encouraging Diversity and Inclusion within the team and the wider organisation

How to stand out?

  • Detailed knowledge & experience of WAN and LAN design & architecture, including TCP/IP protocols, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPSEC, etc…
  • 3+ years architecting, implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services infrastructure and topologies
  • Knowledge of multi-vendor network hardware, including Cisco, Juniper, HPE, PaloAlto.
  • Ability to explain deep technical concepts, and produce business case documentation for C level executives
  • 5+ years project experience designing and delivering networks.
  • Product knowledge & hands on experience with Microsoft Azure, VMWare & AWS.
  • Understanding of cloud networking, including Microsoft ExpressRoute, AWS DirectConnect and VMware NSX with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS Solutions
