Are you seeking an opportunity to put your financial and analytical skills into practice? Would you like to get exposure to the job of a Financial Analyst working in a global manufacturing company?

We are currently looking for an Intern to support our Commercial Finance team in our European Headquarter in Oegstgeest! Being part of this international team, you will be involved in providing reporting and analytical support to our European Sales and Marketing organization. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Support the commercial finance planning and control cycle to ensure business owners get timely and accurate insights (AOP, quarterly forecast & monthly reporting processes)
  • Preparation of ad-hoc analysis and business cases including the presentation on findings (portfolio performance, profitability & mix analysis for customer consolidations, payment terms evaluations etc.)
  • Support our Sustainability team to improve and maintain the transactional framework of the liner recycling program
  • Establish and build upon strong, cohesive working relationships between Finance and the Commercial organization

The preferred start date is January 15th 2021. The ideal candidate is available for 5 days a week for a duration of at least 5 months. 

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated and thriving in a dynamic and collaborative environment. 

What we also expect from you:

  • Currently following a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business with a focus on Finance or any related studies
  • Explorer / Self-starter mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Very good Excel skills (Pivot, vlookups, Conditional Operations) 
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
