Senior Product Owner at bloomon
bloomon is a fast-growing online-only flower delivery service with a focus on exceptional floral design, customer service and sustainability. Since our start in 2014 we’ve become an iconic European flower brand with more than 100k customers across 5 countries. Our Amsterdam HQ is home to a diverse team of 100+ people and growing.
We're now looking for a Senior Product Owner to play a key role in our Product and Engineering team. Reporting to the CPO with high access to the CEO and broader leadership team, your key area of focus will be driving innovation and scalability in our supply chain tech platform.
Our unique supply chain allows us to access unique flowers at the best prices, and deliver these to customers with unbeatable freshness. You will be responsible for defending and increasing these advantages over time, including ensuring that our platform scales effectively and continues to be a source of defensible innovation. For example:
(1) Build out bloomon's unique sourcing platform—the pivotal component which ties together bloomon's unique designs, direct relationships with growers, sustainable sourcing policies and strict quality controls.
(2) Bring bloomon's operational processes to the next level—from the moment that flowers enter our warehouse until they arrive at the customer's doorstep—unlocking important new features for our customers (such as more personalised deliveries and variable time-slot selection) and for bloomon (solid stock management and operational cost control).
(3) Ensure best-in-class customer service by making sure our Customer Service team has the right platform in place to make good on customer expectations and to really add value to the bloomon brand.
What will you do?

Maintain a clear and prioritised list of work for our software teams, continuously balancing the competing needs of necessary operational and maintenance work, enabling other teams, delivering short and long-term benefit to customers, and making both incremental and step-change improvements in our tech platform.Enable the engineering team. Do whatever is required to optimise the speed of development, ensuring that our engineers can focus on building great software. Contribute to a great engineering culture by helping us continuously improve our working practices and processes.Bring clarity and evangelise. Facilitate a great working relationship between Product and Engineering and the rest of the business by ensuring that our engineering team understands the full context of the work we do so that we build great solutions, and giving the broader business transparency about what we're building, why, and the timelines.
