In this role, you have the opportunity to

Learn and develop yourself by being part of a professional team that has a central position in the organization. It enables you to learn all about the company and gain professional hands-on working experience in the field of Communications.

You will be focused on two main areas: First, you will be responsible for mapping the current communication channels, evaluating the effectiveness of the channels in place, and providing recommendations on further improvements moving forward.

Second, you will be assisting with the implementation and execution of the communication plans for the 12,000 Philips employees in the Benelux as a whole as well as the 600 employees of the Benelux Sales Organization specifically.

You are responsible for

  • Further improving employee engagement by identifying gaps in the current target audiences and communications structure.
  • Support content creation and publication for our newsletters and campaigns.
  • Support in event logistics, such as Town Hall Meetings and Coffee Corners.
  • Analyze current performance based on KPIs and Daily Management practices. As well as providing valuable recommendations based on identified trends.

You are a part of

The Integrated Communications team, which is a dynamic and diverse team within Marketing & eCommerce with many different disciplines, such as: PR, internal communications, brand, sponsoring, e-commerce, campaign management and events. This internship fulfills a central role in the department and is therefore a great place to get to know the diverse challenges and opportunities a global organization deals with on a daily basis within their home market.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your HBO (Bachelor) or WO (Bachelor of science/Master of science) in: Business Administration, (International) Business Management, Marketing, or Communications/ Media;
  • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills;
  • Fluent in both Dutch & English is needed
  • Capable of strict planning, working on and initiating multiple projects in parallel while maintaining a high standard;
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and positive change;
  • Ability to work accurately and independently;
  • Eager to learn.
