Vattenfall has the ambition to enable a fossil free living within one generation. A bold statement, which is being worked hard on by the various departments within Vattenfall. The great thing about this ambition is that we as Real Estate & Facility Management can also make a major contribution to it. ‘Practice what you preach’ is a frequently mentioned statement within our department. We can and must show that we can be fossil-free within one generation. Then you might be the candidate to join our team!

What will you do?

As a facility advisor you initiate and drive new (international) initiatives to improve services of Real Estate & Facility Management. You report to the Director of RE&FM NL/UK.

What will your responsibilities look like?

  • Developing facility policy;
  • Coordinating, developing and monitoring the implementation by the managing agent;

  • Have an interest in big data and the usage for our department;
  • Handling projects according to the usual project methods;
  • Contribute to international projects to improve facility processes;

  • Have an education in Facility Management or similar on a bachelor level.
  • Communicate in both Dutch and English language, on a professional level.
  • Love data and have experience using it in your job or education.

This isn’t your first job, but you are at the beginning of your career and are ambitious. To enjoy working with us you need to be/have:

  • Proactive and open-minded professional with a sense of integrity and responsibility
  • Able to work independently, set priorities in your work and stay flexible

I studied law at university and although I didn’t have any experience in IT, it was an area I had always been interested in. The training I was given before I started work at the IT Service Desk gave me a very good foundation.
