In this role, you have the opportunity to

support shaping the IT infrastructure for equipment and machine monitoring in the fiber interspaced anti-scatter grids factory. The IT landscape regards the local factory Manufacturing Executing System (MES), of which the back-end is structured using the SQL standard. In this role, you have the opportunity to increase the productivity of the machines and to create a direct feedback loop from quality inspection to machines, including a trigger for machine maintenance.

You are responsible for

  • Writing code that allows for real-time machine monitoring within the Factory.
  • Creating an interface between machine processes and the IT solution
  • Rolling out and implementing your created IT solution (software & hardware) in collaboration with your mentor.
  • Assisting the team in the creation and execution of process improvement projects.
  • Close collaboration with the process optimization project manager and the engineering department

You are a part of

a cross-functional team of production and maintenance operators, project manager, shiftleads and the engineering department. Together we have a joint effort in producing grids for X-ray systems for customers all over the world.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently following a HBO study in the field of IT, Computer Science or similar, or proven prior work experience.
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Junior) Expert in IT, Business Analytics, or other relevant fields
  • Able to work 40 hours / week
  • strong work ethic, willing to go the extra mile for a good result
  • Work independently, exploring solutions for IT problems before escalating
  • Quick learner
  • Advanced programming skills (e.g. Phtyon, SQL, C, VBA)
  • Familiar with SQL Developer (or similar) or willing to learn
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in project management is a prerequisite
