This is the role

Land Life Company’s marketing and communications team is looking for an intern to support with a range of corporate communications tasks in their Amsterdam headquarters.

The responsibilities of the Marketing & Communications Intern will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Play a key role in the organization’s social media management and implementation
  • Assist in creating well-written copy for press releases and new items
  • Maintaining Land Life’s Media Library – collecting and organizing photos and videos from our planting sites worldwide
  • Supporting the team in our PR efforts (e.g. lead generation, networking, event participation)
  • Support the team in creating and maintaining key marketing materials like our Customer Dashboard and presentation decks
  • Assist the organization in fine-tuning internal communications processes
  • Coordinate the publication of our external and internal Q3 newsletters
  • Provide assistance in handling and responding to commercial leads received through various channels (e.g. mailboxes, social media messages, and more)

This is you

  • Currently studying marketing and communications or journalism at the university level (or recently graduated), but with a keen interest in sustainability.
  • Proficient with Google Docs and Slides (and similar), Hootsuite and familiarity using social media channels for business is a must.
  • Strong written and verbal skills in (near-native) English is a must.
  • A strategic thinker but with a hands-on mentality.
  • Is self-directed and organized, but also hungry to learn

Added bonus:

  • Basic Photoshop and design skills
  • Proficient in Dutch or Spanish
  • Video editing experience

We are based in Amsterdam in the beautiful KiT building (Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen), with offices overlooking the Oosterpark. The team is young and international, with an informal and friendly atmosphere that includes a daily team lunch.
