Job Description

This person is responsible for the implementation and support of global contracts in region/ country (NL) and actively manages and leads the locally managed categories within the global procurement organization. The Procurement manager strives to generate and deliver ongoing value through year-over-year savings and to ensure the supply of goods & services for Teva site/office (NL) in his/her area of responsibility.

This includes usage of Source to Pay processes and solutions within the Ariba Sourcing, Contracts and P2P solutions aligned with Global Procurement policies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years Procurement with experience in contract negotiation process: A must
  • CAPEX experience or knowledge of CAPEX
  • Ariba Sourcing and Contract Management and P2P experience preferred
  • Pharma industry experience: 3+ years preferred
  • Master or Bachelor's degree in business/science or a related area

Knowledge and skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills including cross-functional teamwork, effective written and oral communication skills, strong multi-cultural skills, high energy levels, and a bias towards action
  • Sensitivity to the cultural diversity of a global organization
  • Solid understanding of contract management and P2P best practices, policies and tools
  • Previous experience with Ariba, Financial and ERP systems and reporting solutions
  • MS office skills (e.g., excel and power point)
  • Fluent in Dutch & English
