QA Tester

As a QA tester, you will work alongside the developers to make sure that the software they made is in line with our quality standards.

Maintaining the quality of software gives you energy! You enjoy writing automated test scripts as well as talking to developers and discuss new updates, bugs or plug-ins. You are able to learn the reasoning behind the way developers make things and use your analytical skills to further improve the testing process.

You will be part of the Test team and will closely be working with the development team. You will be creating new scripts, working on existing ones to solve problems and ensuring the quality of our software Cleopatra Enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Writing & running scripts to test the existing functionality of the ‘live’ or newly developed software
• Analysing the results, checking the logs, reporting bugs and reviewing documentation
• Creating effective strategies and controlling features regarding QA
• Solving problems, adjusting scripts and discussing issues with the developers to prevent or solve them
• Improving the test procedures and being a good communicator with the software team

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in a relevant field
• Eager to learn our testing software and our own software product Cleopatra Enterprise
• Good command in spoken and written English; the Dutch language skill is a plus
• You have strong problem-solving capabilities and are analytically strong
• You have an eye for detail and like challenges
