What you will do

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our PPC (Paid Search) / SEA (Search Engine Advertising) team and contribute to reaching our ambitious growth goals. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day optimization of paid search campaigns across different markets and languages – to drive high-quality traffic in line with marketing requirements and ROI expectations. 

You will split your time between analysis and daily account management. This role gives a lot of freedom for an enthusiastic analyst to put their ideas to the test – being responsible for hypothesis, implementation, analysis, and refinement – with a highly measurable impact.


  • Work alongside the PPC/SEA team on day-to-day analysis and optimization
  • Manage paid search campaigns end to end in different search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo Japan, and others
  • Help to identify and develop new opportunities
  • Creation, setup, and automation of reports and dashboards with different business goals in SA360, Looker, Google DataStudio, and Google Analytics
  • Carry out research, data mining, and experimentation, to improve paid search performance and business understanding
  • Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights to achieve profitable growth in paid search campaigns
  • Liaise with other Tiqets analysts to drive business growth and profitability
  • Keep pace with paid search industry trends and developments
  • Work closely with the other team members to achieve team goals


  • Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program (study related to Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics)
  • Strong Excel skills and data analysis skills (knowledge of or willingness to learn SQL preferred)
  • Attention to detail, ability to do in-depth data mining, methodical approach to work while also seeking to understand the big picture
  • You are available for a period of 5 to 6 months (and at least 4 days a week)
  • You are living in the Netherlands/EU region
  • To be eligible for an internship, you must be enrolled as a student within the EU.
