About the Graduate Programme

By joining the Instrumentation, Control Systems (CSE) or Telecoms Engineering graduate programme at KBR, you will be provided with the necessary tools needed to further your career as a CSE or Telecoms engineer and become a key member of our team. Opportunities are provided not only to become an expert in design of field Instrumentation, Controls & Telecoms systems but also to start specialising in Safety system design, Functional safety, Analysers, Fire & Gas, Process Control or 3D Modelling/Visualisation. The programme is IET & Institute of Measurement & Control accredited and our established mentor system will help support and advise you on your journey towards Chartership. The 4 year programme offers rotation in various different roles and different projects as well as opportunities to work across Europe, Asia and the Americas. It also offers access to graduate committees such as the KBR IMPACT global network which promotes professional and social activities within the organisation.

What you will do

  • You will be based at our office in Leatherhead, Surrey and become part of our CSE&T team, this will involve working on and contributing to different projects in various stages.
  • Helping design Instrumentation, Control Systems or Telecoms systems at various stages of projects from concept definition right through to detailed design and supporting construction and commissioning phases.
  • Different rotations will allow you to develop your skills and provide you with a wide range experience and could provide you with the opportunity to work abroad at one of our other offices in locations like Baku and Chennai.
  • Site based rotations available to further enhance knowledge, skills and experience.
