About the job

As a Brand Manager for Israel, you will be part of a double digit growing business in an international environment with a passionate and multicultural team that operates in a cross functional way of working.

 In this initial assignment, you will be responsible for the brands in the country of Israel.

 Main responsibilities

As a Brand Manager, you will deliver support for the development of the middle-to-long term brand strategy. 

  • Based on the agreed regional / brand strategy, you will develop yearly consumer marketing execution plans for each of your assigned markets ensuring optimal impact on local sales (launch, promotion, communication channel, trade marketing, and training of distributor). You will be responsible for its execution from the consumer marketing point of view
  • You will setup the yearly budget allocated to your brands for each of your assigned markets and to ensure optimal ROI.
  • You will lead cross-functional teams in all renovation and innovation projects related to your markets (research, project approval, product development, product launch, monitoring);
  • You will be responsible for digital communication in your country
  • Beside your brand / market responsibility, you will work within cross-functional teams on markets business planning or key CBU projects as a team member or a leader.

 Needed for success

  • To be successful in this role, you have gained experience at least 5-10 years’ experience in a marketing position at a FMCG company, where you gained experience in Product/Brand Management (Renovation, Innovation, Communication).
  • You have worked on integrating marketing execution plans with concrete delivery (planning, execution, monitoring). You have experience with brand budget planning and allocation, experience with leading agencies and/or have experience in delivering support for building a brand strategy.
  • Furthermore; you are fluent in English and native in Hebrew.
  • For this position, you will travel frequently (25% to 30%) - mostly within Israel and to the Netherlands.

The Specialized Nutrition Worldwide CBU continues to grow rapidly (cc. 10% CAGR) in a complex global environment.  The CBU is driven by a clear strategic vision “Expedition 150” (150 Million Euro in Net Sales), with a track record of significant growth that will reach >100 million EURO in 2019.

Within this contact and of 40+ markets there are constantly Innovation and Renovation projects to be rolled out (new formats, new recipes, new products) + a lot of regular updates to be made on the several portfolios in milks ( powder and liquid) + foods (cereals) coming from global or the market side. In 2019 we had an amount of 300+ artworks in the pipeline. Considering the SN integration this scope will grow in the upcoming years, bringing new challenges and opportunities, which is why there is a strong and stable WoW and expertise on CBU level needed.

Artwork is a crucial part of the launching process, as it affects the production plan as well as the Marketing activities, this makes it one of the crucial touchpoints for the consumers.

The Artwork manager will deliver on delivering on the stable base within the CBU and on increasing efficiency in an increasing number of artworks to be touched each year.

In the new SN Organization – this will be more critical with the number of products / skus / categories increasing and the increasing artwork technical complexity due to the nature of more specialized categories.
