As a Business Analyst you will work on an Automation Project provide capabilities for EMEA Global Distribution Services.

You will be responsible for:

  • Eliciting, analysing and documentation of user requirements for all types of projects, changes and improvements to both business processes and systems.
  • Completing and delivering detailed business analysis (incl. business requirements, process maps and user stories), identify partners, review and document current state, identify issues and risks and advise on proposed solutions / mitigating actions.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders and other business partners, raise issues and risks to the project / program manager.
  • Handling changes to requirements (documentation, impact evaluation, communication to all partners and change validations / verifications)
  • Working with the BAU teams to establish new working processes, develop structured BAU manuals, conduct user training and provide support during handover of operational processes to business owners.

Have the autonomy to make an impact – Act as a technology specialist during any development, provide operational support during user acceptance testing and liaise with the testing team!

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have business analysis experience, preferably within the financial services industry and a strong knowledge of structured business analysis tools and techniques (e.g. process mapping, issue and solution analysis and prioritisation)
  • Show a strong understanding how to help managers and teams document their current state and develop their future state, using appropriate tools
  • Have the know-how in working in an iterative development environment, demonstrating knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, business processes and workflows and be familiar with agile methods and JIRA
  • Have knowledge of quality assurance and testing methodologies a plus
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and able to discuss complex/technical concepts in a meeting environment
  • Be experienced in contributing to project / program meetings and communicating / bringing up to relevant partners and managers
