At SCITODATE we are modernizing how Sales and Marketing are done in academic markets, a traditional B2B market. Producers of high-tech research equipment use our state-of-the-art AI engine to make their business more scalable by mapping exactly who would buy their equipment and who is using the competition.

The Position:

Are you a proactive Sales specialist with SaaS background? We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive, organized, and self-sufficient team player to join our team. You are customer-focused, creative, an effective communicator in both written and verbal forms, and analytical by nature. You have a strong affinity for technology and life science Market

You love working in a fast-paced environment, take the initiative to get stuff done or try something new, and love sharing your findings with your team to ensure we all benefit from your knowledge. You have lots of energy, along with a positive attitude, and exhibit the ability to adjust on the fly as things change.

Profile

  • Solid understanding of the decision-making process in large corporations, including a hands-on track record is a must.
  • The ability to understand, define and drive SaaS-based sales are a must.
  • Experience in a start-up environment is an advantage.
  • Regards sales as an activity driven process and is able to direct sales people on their activity. You are able to do 40-60 activities including calls, meetings and emails per day.
  • A solid network within the large corporate players in Europe such as Bruker, Thermo Fisher and Biotech is also an advantage.
  • An earlier field applications experience in applicable fields is also a plus.

Minimum Required Experience

  • 3 or more years of sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic sales opportunities.
  • Experience utilizing a CRM to manage individual key performance metrics.
  • Skills in managing a high volume or leads and opportunities or various sources and sizes.
  • Experience building and managing a pipeline and delivering accurate forecasts.
  • Proven track record or meeting or exceeding performance targets.
  • Fluency in English and German is a plus.
  • Successful business development and sales track record on enterprise sales and account management for SaaS tools and development products.
