Due to rapid growth, THG is looking to recruit a Data Analyst Graduate to support the weekly and daily forecasting and planning of operations at our flagship Distribution Centre. Your primary focus will be to ensure that an optimal amount of resource is available within the warehouse so customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner. You will manage a small team of Planners to ensure the smooth running of daily operations and align the plan to high level strategies set by the Network Planning Manager and Site Lead. Due to THG’s on-going global expansion you will have the opportunity to progress into large-scale strategic planning roles covering multiple warehouses.

You will be based at our Omega Distribution Centre in Warrington. You will mainly be working Mon to Fri 8-5 but flexibility is required as the warehouse is operational 24/7.

Main Responsibilities

  • Compile weekly demand & supply forecast for Outbound & Inbound operations with future expansion to Operational Support departments.
  • Report on progress on weekly & daily level, calling out discrepancies to plan and applying corrective actions as required.
  • Supervise and support Planning Analysts with daily planning processes.
  • Maintain a line of communication with trading teams to build a detailed picture of sales activities.
  • Liaise with other operational areas and support departments to maintain a clear account of demand and flow of resource within the warehouse.
  • Lead regular planning and review meetings with members of senior management.
  • Meet with recruitment agency representatives to set demand expectations and streamline the supply of temporary warehouse colleagues.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the existing planning processes.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Strong numerical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel, (including Macros) plus SQL.
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
  • Ability to make strategic decisions as well as resolve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence to innovate and redefine processes
  • If you have some experience automating processes, working with databases and with resource planning this would be advantageous.
