Your job as Technical Support Engineer

Do you like a challenge, do you like working with technology and people? Do you have analytical skills and are you customer-focused? Then stop looking, because this is the ideal role for you! Nedap Security Management is looking for a BAD-ASS PROBLEM SOLVER! 

What will be your tasks?

Your tasks will be quite diverse. Using your technical knowledge you assist our business partners and customers in solving all kinds of technical issues. In doing so, you stimulate the self-reliance of our business partners by means of training and support on location. As a product specialist you are responsible for the development of your own knowledge of our access control solution. It is therefore up to you how you fulfil this role. You will also be involved with the testing of new functionalities, while you are a source for our technical documentalist team. You have an advising role for technical advice in our sales processes. Your tasks do not end with the country’s borders in the event that we offer an international solution.

Which team will you be working in?

In the role of Technical Support Engineer you will be part of the Technical Support Centre of Nedap Security Management. The team consists of five persons in the Netherlands and eleven, spread out across the rest of the world. for the team we find it important that you are an open colleague with good communication skills. Obviously you look beyond your own work and understand the importance of coordinating with colleagues. Nedap is a flat organisation and as such, offer a lot of freedom in your work and planning. This makes self-reliance and own responsibility essential features.

Required experience and skills as Technical Support Engineer

You are enthusiastic and put our customers first. You like to put a lot of effort into challenging questions in order to make the best solution even more complete. In addition you are or have:

  • A higher vocational education level of working and thinking
  • Communicative skills and you can manage to ask the right questions to get to the core of the issue
  • Analytical abilities and a critical view
  • Affinity with IT infrastructures (networks, software and hardware)
  • A good command of English, French, Dutch, verbally and written
  • Available full time
