Job description

What we do

No matter if you’re the biggest sports fanatic, have a ‘minor’ shoe addiction or you own just one pair of sneakers, you know that finding the “perfect” shoe can be challenging. We’re here to help people find that perfect shoe every single time. We have created a way to make a 3D scan of your feet and match that profile with our own (and the world’s largest) database of 3D-scanned shoes. Our goal is to inspire people to do what they love in maximum comfort, whether it’s running a marathon, dancing all night or simply going for a stroll in the park.

As an employer, we strive to translate this philosophy into a happy and balanced lifestyle for all our team members, giving them the opportunity to grow and thrive while doing what they love.

About the position

One of our company’s key assets is our global shoe database, in which we have stored almost 2 million sport and fashion shoes from a wide variety of global brands (e.g. Nike, Adidas and many more). We collect shoe data from our retailers and directly from brands and build a community-based platform. Shoes are then collected and scanned for its 3D inner dimensions. The shoe data, including image and inner dimensions, are then used for our proprietary shoe model and size recommendation software.

As (Shoe) Master Data Administrator you are responsible for complete and accurate shoe data in our (global) shoe database. You are experienced in working with large data sets, your middle name is speedy accuracy (as wrong data will lead to wrong recommendations and lots of hassle afterwards), and you are passionate about building the best and biggest shoe database in the world. During season changes and new customer implementations, we expect you to make extra steps to make sure we continue supporting our retailers in advising better and selling more.

Of course we are working hard on making this process more efficient, by getting better data from our customers or brands, by using more efficient data exchanges (e.g. through EDI) and by building automation. You will work together with Project Managers and our developers in Slovenia to make sure we get better, better and more efficient. So it would be a plus when you have experience in streamlining this process.

Job requirements

What you'll do:

  • Cleaning received data and making it ready for registration process in our databases
  • Registering data in our databases and performing quality checks on the data
  • Providing feedback to suppliers of data for improving quality
  • Aligning with developers on automation requests and solutions

What you'll need:

  • Experience in handling large data sets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - particularly Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables)
  • Experience with ERP systems, applications and reporting tools
  • Plus is if you have experience with EDI, interfaces and data exchanges
  • Process orientation and user satisfaction attitude
  • Proactive, self-organized, analytical mindset, ability to work independently, and a strong attention to detail
  • Able to perform and prioritize in fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to communicate openly, clearly and constructively
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written - additional languages are a plus, not required
