Job Description

As a Community Relations & Event Coordinator, you are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with diverse teams. In this independent role, you are responsible for the organization, coordination and administration of various programs and events.

Our mission is to make a positive, meaningful difference to the in- and external community. You will also have to opportunity to engage and support the well-being of our team members in Europe. As the Community Relations & Event Coordinator, you will report to the Community Relations Manager.

Within Applied medical, the title of this position is Community Relations Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize, coordinate and track programs & events
  • Evaluate, coordinate, support and administrate the process of sponsorship requests
  • Support with drafting content for both internal and external communication
  • Enthuse and coordinate volunteers at events
  • Embrace the company’s mission and incorporate it in the communication and implementation of programs and events
  • Serve as liaison with vendors/partners on event-related matters
  • Administrate the budgets and provide periodic progress reports for each area
  • Request finances, including purchase requisitions and invoices

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree related to Event Management / Communication
  • 2-3+ years of relevant planning experience
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and superb follow-up skills
  • (Near) native English and excellent Dutch, both written and spoken
  • Able to communicate effectively and work with all levels of the organization
  • Effective presentation- and public speaking skills
