We are looking for a PR & Social Media Manager (m/f/d) based in Amsterdam.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive the deployment and implementation of the social media, PR and product placement strategy/activities at a local market level for the Levi’s® Red Tab line, footwear and accessories and Levi’s® premium lines Levi’s® Made & Crafted and Levi’s® Vintage Clothing, in line with the regional brand direction.
- Identify locally relevant opportunities (social media, events, key influencers, editorial)
- Drive equity and stylishness of the Levi’s brand through social media channel, influencer relationship & PR
- Own, build and maintain solid relationships with local social media influencers (such as Bloggers, Instagramers, YouTubers) as well as fashion, marketing, trade, consumer/lifestyle, non-financial business, broadcast and radio press/media, as well as opinion leaders
- Plan and execute influencer and PR events: internal and external
- Monitor, collect and conduct ROI analysis on the PR coverage, events and contacts
- Manage, track, forecast annual social media and PR budget
- Define affiliate PR and social media content calendar in line with seasonal brand and business objectives and Global/Local PR strategy
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communication
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a global, branded consumer environment
- Demonstrated ability to “read” the marketplace, understands the SoMe workstreams and latest developmets
- Good relationships to appropriate Influencers and media partners
- Experience with an iconic brand is helpful —apparel, youth or entertainment industry
Skills & Competences
- Brings up-to-date SoMe strategies to life – Drives the brand social media approach through the right channels. Is fluent in next generation SoMe approaches to generate consumer interest and engagement.
- Innovation & Experimentation - Executes new, forward looking and efficient approaches. Exhibits a ‘test and roll” mindset for experimentation in order to build learning and apply what works to bigger future efforts.
- Strategic – looks beyond today, for long-term, sustained demand creation and energized brand equity differentiation.
- Commercial mindset – have a good understanding of retail dynamic and is able to connect with operational implication of retail stores. – apparel industry not mandatory.
- Project management skills and understanding of tool sets.
- Consumer & Market Insight – Interprets multiple sources of consumer and marketplace insights to deploy marketing programs that create desire and drive consumer demand for the brand.
