Our Sourcer is technically oriented.

You will independently search and find potential suppliers, mainly in Europe. You will focus on potentially good selling products for our website. Together with our suppliers, you optimize products and packaging. Our compliance team will help you to make sure that the products meet EU regulations. You constantly have in mind that vidaXL provides customers with the most cost-efficient products.

Working out new product ideas and finding a supplier who can produce these ideas for the lowest cost. Together with the team you put this idea on paper, this can range from very simple to a detailed. Since many of our ideas are not standard, you probably must talk to the engineer or boss of the supplier to explain to them what we have in mind and why we believe that our plan is feasible.

Once it looks like there is a chance to cooperate and price level and technical requirements are workable together with your team and the supplier will be visited.

Since many projects are managed parallel and in different stages, on a daily base you are doing design, negotiations, follow-ups, travel, translation and work on a great new product line.

As an Assistant Buyer you are successful and have a hands-on attitude. You have the technical insights to look at factory samples and improve on costs and/or quality. You are strong in prioritizing and organizing your busy schedule. You aim for your product range to be popular in our sales channels. It makes you proud to provide a substantial piece of the revenue.
