Job Description Summary

To manage data quality and support the attribution and root cause coding of delays to improve the consistency and quality of performance data within Arriva Rail London

Responsibilities

Job Description

  • To ensure that TRUST and COMPASS train service performance data is relevant, accurate and reliable.
  • To monitor the standards of level one attribution and report on the effectiveness of delay incident reporting.
  • To support the completion of root cause coding by business units including delivering guidance and training where needed
  • Support the process of gathering insights from drivers, strategic command and other key operational units
  • To audit, review and challenge data coding to ensure consistency and quality of available information
  • To provide effective reporting to drive improvement and encourage appropriate behaviours
  • To maintain records of incidents that are escalated to level two.
  • To support the Level 2 Attribution process
  • To maintain and update the ARL Compass performance database in respect of attribution.
  • To identify and resolve any issues affecting train running data quality and implement initiatives to address quality issues

To provide analysis and support to improve On-Time Performance as required and defined by business need.
