THE ROLE

The Graphic Designer, will deliver the best quality, creative work on time and on budget, under the guidance of the Creative Director & Art Director.

As this is a very hands-on role, you’re a responsible team player and can be relied upon as the ‘go to’ person for the graphics output within the Marketing department. Having experience in an advertising agency/design studio or in-house marketing team, you fully understand the importance of design production and final artwork preparation within a creative environment.

This role needs a pro-active Graphic Designer with experience to produce compelling ideas and execution across creative design, retail, animation, illustration. An experience working with still and moving imagery material is a bonus. A keen eye on detail and typography is also needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Art Director to foresee projects from assets creation to final artwork delivery.
  • Act as brand guardian, upholding the seasonal campaign direction through all marketing activities. You’ll convey the brand vision and ensure the visual aesthetic and tone-of-voice are consistently communicated across all touch points.
  • Develop ideas which are on-brand and own creative projects and preparing all assets to a final artwork stage.
  • Develop seasonal communication layouts, campaign guidelines, and artworks;
  • Develop moving graphic content for digital channels; banner creations in various formats, paid social and organic social media assets.
  • Develop Retail & Event collateral; both print and digital.
  • Work with the Creative & Art Director to push good ideas further.

THE PROFILE:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in an advertising agency or in-house agency;
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects through to completion;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong professional partnerships;
  • An enthusiastic collaborator, but also self-initiating and motivated to work autonomously;
  • You’ll enjoy working with others, sharing knowledge and best practices across the teams, and strive to continually improve work on both an aesthetic and functional level;
  • Positive, you bring those vibes to the team while keeping work standards high, contributing to our unique culture, every day;
  • Creative problem-solver;
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment;
  • Adaptable, there is no typical day at Karl Lagerfeld;
  • Intermediate knowledge of 360 campaign design development and delivery;
  • Digitally savvy; video and Motion experience is a bonus;
  • Intermediate knowledge of paper sourcing and specialty papers;
  • Intermediate knowledge of digital assets and platforms;
  • English is the working language of the company. French & German are an advantage;
  • Flexible; no 9-5 mentality
