As part of an international community of developers, makers and innovators, of designers and creators, you drive the business of PwC’s digital services from our Experience Center. In cross-functional teams, you design and build innovative solutions for our clients to thrive in the ‘experience age’.

Many of our clients face significant challenges - expectations of their customers and employees change faster than they can adapt. At the same time, new market entrants cause significant disruption, and steal market share away. To tackle these challenges, our clients require a partner that can help them innovate and accelerate the implementation of solutions that have an immediate and differentiating impact on the experience provided to their customer or employees.

The Experience Center is part of a multinational European team, closely collaborating with colleagues across offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Frankfurt, Berlin and Stockholm to name a few.

For more information about the Experience Center take a look on the following page.

Who are you?

To have a differentiating impact on our clients’ customers and their employees, you will be user-centric in your thinking and approach. You are passionate about designing delightful and attractive experiences for humans, to empower and enable them.

You know how to effectively work in cross-functional, agile teams. You are a digital native, creative in everything you do, you are confident, and, you dare to challenge the status quo.

We would love to hear from you if you meet most of the following expectations:

  • You have experience in working directly for clients, preferably as a consultant or from within an agency;
  • You have worked on a diverse range of ‘digital and experience design’ projects, such as digital transformation, service design, process innovation, and customer (or employee) experience design;
  • At least four years of experience of designing complex information and workflow products across web and mobile, with at least 1 year in a Senior UX role;
  • Demonstrable experience creating wireframes, personas, sketching, scenarios and user flows. Working knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Sketch and Invision.
  • Experience with applying design principles, style guides, and pattern libraries. Working knowledge of the technology behind web-based products, design systems and UI libraries;
  • Know what’s technically feasible;
  • Experience working in an agile environment with product owners and developers. Comfortable to reflect on the design process and working in an iterative design process;
  • Capable of handling and prioritizing multiple projects including flexibility on assignments and deadlines;
  • You are a team player, are open-minded, and are highly engaged and invested. You love to learn and try-out new technologies;
  • Your work will be grounded in a deep research-based understanding of our users. This will show itself in workflows and layouts that support user needs, and that are delivered through creative and attractive UI designs.
  • You have excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate your designs effectively to a broad range of stakeholders.
  • You are passionate about exploring multiple design directions, pushing the boundaries of what is possible and expected.

Trainee - Edge Deals Traineeship

Jildou Merkus

PwC has an open atmosphere. With the right motivation and ambition, you can find a matching place here to start or continue your career. I started as a trainee at FDD, the largest department within PwC Deals. I learned a lot in those first months alone.

Senior Associate Deals - Deal Analytics

When I interned at another company, I met my old mentor. He turned out to be working at PwC and told me about Deals. I got excited when I heard that PwC was innovating with regard to valuations and automation. I also find it interesting to work at the interface of M&A and Big Data Analyses.
