Internship: Financial/Pricing Analyst

Job Description

As a pricing intern, you will work closely with the team to empower sales through your analysis. Providing them with key elements to make the best decisions! Other than that, you will support the front-end organisation by maintaining our customer’s price lists, carrying out product switches as well as customer mergers in the system. Last but not least, you will provide vision & direction through monthly reports, tracking price erosion, evaluating projects renewability and supporting the intercompany transfer pricing process. As the result of the internship, we expect you to improve existing processes through proactive and thorough analyses as well as contribute to ideas and project generation.

Key Internship Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular analyses with regards to profitability of customers and products.
  • Evaluate current pricing structure and suggest possible improvements.
  • Active involvement with the sales and marketing team.
  • Maintain pricing systems and customer metadata.
  • Report on price development and segment trends.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who should be following a Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration or other related fields of study.

Preferred start date is 1st of June 2020 and the ideally available 4-5 days a week for 4-7 months.

To fit in the role you must have:

  • Excellent communication skills in English. (Dutch is not required)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must!
  • Analytical and pragmatic mindset.
  • Quick learner and creative problem solver.
