Role

Our Rotterdam office is now looking for a hands-on Social Media Specialist.

In this position, you are to help drive the continued growth of our company. Reporting to the Head of Communications and working in a team of 5 people, the core goal of the position is to manage all our social media channels, from planning and curating until creating content, as to build our company legacy worldwide.

Through innovative collaboration with other social media, meaningful storytelling and inspiring content we want you to elevate our brand communications to the next level across all platforms beyond architecture and design.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all our social media channels independently in accordance with the Management team;

• Produce creative and epic content including videos etc.;

• Establish and grow relationships with relevant social media platforms in self-build, architecture and mainstream digital media outlets, and secure relevant and consistent digital press coverage;

• Optimize performance and engagement on all social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and etc.);

• Implement website content updates once required;

• Organize and curate project photography;

• Identify and arrange new opportunities for our company via social media;

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to gain broad experience in an international architecture and design firm.

Writing samples and/or published articles are most welcome.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communicator who is confident to present and implement new PR and marketing ideas
  • Genuine communications savvy, proven copywriting, curating and editing skills
  • Eager to learn and develop a broad range of marketing and PR skills
  • Excellent proficiency in creative software packages such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Premiere, After Effects and Illustrator)
  • Experience in or knowledge of video content production and editing is ideal
  • Affinity in architecture and understanding of architectural drawings
  • Be proactive, service-minded and a strong team-player
  • Feel confident in a complex, dynamic and international environment
  • At least one year of experience working in a PR/marketing role (agency or in-house) within architecture, interior design or other relevant industry
  • A degree in journalism, communications, architecture or relevant
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any other language is an advantage
  • Flexible working attitude and willing to fulfil ad-hoc duties once required
  • Availability of working 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Working eligibility in the Netherlands is preferred
