Job Description

Responsibilities and main activities

We are looking for a self-starter, eager to learn with a hands-on mentality. You will be the key contact person between our head office and the site for financial reporting and all other financial related questions. Apart from the actual, forecast and budget routines your main goal is to improve factory performance and deliver support on all finance topics. You are the owner of the P&L and you feel a high responsibility in driving results and deliver targets. To be successful in this position you need to be analytical, accurate and able to motivate others.

Key accountabilities:

• Coordination and delivery of period closing, forecasting and budget activities and related reports and analyses;

• Ensure full and timely management information and performance measurements against KPI’s and financial targets.

Challenge internal performance against these KPI’s and targets;

• Decision support related to cost prices and improving the quality/accuracy of cost prices in the system;

• Decision support for capex/improvement projects: business cases preparation, savings/IRR calculations and project

completion calculations;

• Work on own initiative to drive improvements and efficiencies in ways of working and reporting structures;

• Provide insightful and actionable analysis as needed;

• Independently manage complex subjects and issues when needed;

• Support and deliver inputs to factory projects;

• Replace Site Controller in case of absence or as required

• Support and lead the finance intern on a day to day basis

Experience & competences

• Bachelor in Business Economics or related, Master degree in a pré;

• 1 – 2 years of professional experience in business control or business analysis, preferably in factory environment;

• Strong analytical skills and accuracy in work, with the ability to apply good judgement in analysis, reporting, planning and

forecasting. Ability to analyze problems and recommend actionable suggestions for change;

• Planning and prioritization skills. Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency and to deliver to tight deadlines;

• Knowledge/experience in accounting is a plus.

• Knowledge/experience with product costing (SAP) is a plus
