About the job
The central Strategy, Data & Intelligence (SDI) team leads the transformation to become more data driven, supports all departments with information and insights and develops data, business intelligence and artificial intelligence tools for Transavia customers and employees.
The new SDI team is founded as part of our journey to take Transavia to the next level in Data & Analytics, which offers you the chance to take a leading role in this transformation. Do you want to be part of this journey and guide the team towards state-of-the-art engineering?
What will be your responsibility?
In your role as a Lead Data Engineer, you will ensure the continuous improvement of the data and cloud engineering way of working and best practices. You will be the ambassador for the technical quality of our data and analytics solutions.
You will guide and support Data Engineer colleagues in developing data and machine learning pipelines. You are responsible for the management and improvement of the data & analytics cloud platform and the data warehouse containing our data and information fundaments.
You will be part of the Strategy, Data and Intelligence team, consisting of the SDI Lead, Lead Data Scientist, Analytics Translators, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Business Consultants. You will maintain close contact with the team members, Enterprise Data Architect, the Cloud Platform Team and our colleagues from Transavia France. In this position you will report to the SDI lead.
