Working at Lightyear is an unique experience. You get the opportunity to work for a company with a pure and meaningful mission. A mission that will make a positive and lasting impact on future generations.
What will you do as Power Electronics Engineer? You are starting your day with a challenge and will take actions upon the design, verification and testing of the motor inverter and solar conversion module. Your days will be split by having hands-on work in the Electronics Lab including documenting tests and results but also guiding the responsible System Architect towards design choices.
At Lightyear we’ve developed several domains which is a group of talented people that get allocated to particular (sub-)systems as part of Lightyear One. As Power Electronics Engineer you’ll be part of the Power Electronics domain where you primarily focus on both our motor inverter (as part of the in-wheel motors) and the solar conversion module. It’s your responsibility to verify the design independently while making use of your knowledge and skills in order to measure the correct parameters and iterate this into a more advanced design.
Of course at the end of the day having a highly contributed feeling about the results achieved that day! Building the way forward for Lightyear...
